What this flow actually does

The account is created in pending mode first, so the same user row cannot be used to enter the cabinet or the game before activation.
Activation is mandatory. The sign-in page remains blocked for this account until the email link is confirmed.
Referral linking is supported and stored directly in the legacy users table through the referal field.
Starter registration gold is not issued here. This flow writes only the account data required for login and referral compatibility.
